Travel in an electric shuttle that supports our sustainability efforts while taking you directly to the places you want to visit while in Tromsø. You will travel to the famous Fjellheisen Cable Car and Fjellstua restaurant, the restaurant that sits at the top of Storsteinen mountain. You will reach the restaurant by riding the cable car to the top of the mountain and gain the exceptional view that awaits you.
There will be the option to disembark the shuttle bus early at the monumental Arctic Cathedral and embark on the next shuttle bus when you are done, then continue to Fjellheisen. You will also have admission on the Fjellheisen cable car with this ticket.
The shuttle bus will transfer you from the city center of Tromsø in Tromsø island to the urban valley, crossing Tromsø bridge towards the mainland, Tromsdalen, where the Fjellheisen Cable car is located.
You can choose to go on board the bus conveniently at Kirkegata 1, near the cruise terminal, or if you are out shopping or dining, the bus will also depart from the town center, Torgsenteret, with multiple departures every day.
Your ticket will also include a 50 NOK voucher to use at the Fjellstua restaurant & café (on top of the mountain, upper station) as appreciation for supporting our eco-friendly shuttle bus. Try a traditional Norwegian waffle or any other delicious treat of your choice or enjoy an authentic Arctic lunch and coffee while admiring the incredible views of the island of Tromsø and its surrounding mountains and sea from your table.
Please remember to travel down in time for the last departure back to the city center.
In the widget to the right, choose when you wish to depart with the cable car from the lower station.
The shuttle bus that brings you to the cable car operates with the following schedule:
We look forward to having you on-board!
