Easy Guided Sea Kayaking Tour Spotting for Seals and Eagles - Incl. Transfer from Tromsø
This tour includes a transfer from and back to Tromsø. Please meet up 15 minutes before departure time.
Your day begins with a short transfer from Tromsø city centre to our cozy tented basecamp. Upon arrival, you’ll step inside a traditional heated Gamme — a snug, dome-shaped tent originally used by the Sámi people when living in the Arctic wilderness. Here, you’ll meet your experienced guides and receive all the necessary equipment for your kayaking adventure, including a drysuit, boots, and specialized gloves designed to keep you warm and dry.
Before heading to the water, your guides will show you how to dress properly for Arctic conditions and provide a detailed safety briefing. Down by the shoreline, your kayak will be adjusted for a comfortable fit, and you’ll get an introduction to sea kayaking techniques — along with a few paddle tips to help you make the most of your time on the water.
Once ready, you’ll glide across calm winter waters surrounded by snow-covered landscapes and serene silence — a truly unforgettable Arctic experience.
After returning to shore, you’ll gather around a crackling outdoor campfire to enjoy hot drinks and snacks while sharing stories about the day’s adventure and life in the Arctic. The tour concludes with your transfer back to Tromsø city center.
