Snowshoe Hiking Experience from Tromsø
This tour includes a transfer from and back to Tromsø city center. Please meet up 15 minutes before departure time at the meeting point.
After pickup and transfer from Tromsø, meet your guide at our camp outside of Tromsø. You will head to one of the nearby tracks chosen for the day based on the best conditions and views. At the start of the track, you will gear up with snowshoes and poles and get some instructions from your guide on how to walk with snowshoes!
Snowshoeing is easy to learn, and your experienced local guide will ensure a safe and enjoyable hike, avoiding any avalanche risk that can be presented in these areas. Along the way, you will hear stories about winter life in the Arctic, local wildlife, and the natural surroundings. Along the way, you will be rewarded with panoramic views of snow-covered mountains, fjords and scattered islands bathed in the magical winter light.
There will be time to enjoy the view, take photos, and possibly spot wildlife. After the hike, the tour finishes with a cozy fire and warm drink back at the camp before your return transfer to Tromsø.

- Long sleeve base layer, like wool or fleece to wear underneath suit. Preferably double layers.

- Water bottle
