Guided Winter Sea Kayaking Tour - Excl. Transfer

This tour does not include a transfer. Please meet up 15 minutes before the start of your tour at our Basecamp in Eidkjosen.

Upon arrival at our basecamp, you will meet your guide and prepare for the adventure ahead. You'll receive all the equipment you need for your kayaking trip, along with clear instructions on how to dress properly to stay warm and safe on the Arctic water.

Once you’re suited up, you will walk down to the shoreline and get settled into your kayak. Before heading out, your guide will give you easy-to-follow paddling instructions and a thorough safety briefing. In winter, you will usually paddle stable double kayaks, but single kayaks will be available on request if you can show sufficient kayaking experience.

During the winter season, you will often explore beautiful areas like Kaldfjorden and Eidkjosen. Depending on the weather and sea conditions, your route may take you through sheltered channels, between small islands, and across peaceful archipelagos. Wildlife is active all year, so as you glide over the calm Arctic waters, you will keep an eye out for sea eagles, otters, seals, and flocks of seabirds.

After the tour, you will return to basecamp to warm up by the fire with hot drinks and snacks while you share stories and highlights from your unforgettable Arctic day.
