Your adventure begins at Åndalsnes Railway Station, one of the few buildings still standing from that time. Here, you’ll receive your “time machine,” transporting you back to the dramatic spring of 1940.
Your first encounter is with 96-year-old Liv, who shares vivid memories from when she was just a little girl and saw soldiers arrive in her hometown. Moments later, you’re standing beside 8-year-old Liv, experiencing the same day through her eyes. Follow Liv as she visits kiosk owner Albert, Lina in the bakery, and a young soldier, each revealing pieces of a story filled with fear, hope, and courage. As the atmosphere grows tense, Liv begins to understand that her world is changing forever. Through lifelike holograms, you’ll witness heartwarming and emotional scenes that bring Norway’s wartime history to life. The journey ends as Liv finds her father, who comforts and protects her amidst the chaos.
