Underground Bunker and War Museum Visit
As the journey begins, you’ll enter the mysterious bunkers and perhaps even discover the legendary hidden gold treasure said to be buried deep inside the mountain! Brave explorers can borrow flashlights to illuminate the dark tunnels, where surprises and small rewards may await along the way.
The guided walk covers about one kilometer of easy terrain, taking you through labyrinth-like tunnels and former defense posts that were once heavily guarded. Throughout the tour, your guide will bring the past to life with engaging tales that help both children and adults understand why Norway was occupied, and why Åndalsnes played such a crucial role in the country’s war story.
After this thrilling and educational exploration, the group will gather at a cozy shelter to relax, grill, and share stories from the day.
