The Hermes II, originally constructed in 1917 as a cargo ship transporting fish, coal, animals, and construction materials, evolved to include shrimp and capelin fishing in its repertoire. Following years of painstaking restoration work from 2016 to 2019, it was rightfully designated a certified preservation masterpiece. In 2021, our unwavering commitment to preserving this vessel earned us the esteemed Tromsø Culture Community Award.
