Full Day and Overnight Combination Package
Stay overnight at Camp Tamok and tailor-make your own program by selecting a daytime and evening activity, combined with overnight accommodation and a morning activity of your choice.
Your full day & overnight adventure package will begin with a 1,5-hour bus ride from Tromsø to the remote Tamok valley. Upon arrival at the camp, you can freshen up and get geared up in the warm winter clothes and boots we provide, ensuring you stay warm and comfortable throughout your stay at the camp. Our camp host will inform you about the upcoming program.
Daytime Activity
Depending on your choice of activity (upon booking) you will head out on a dog sledding, snowmobiling or reindeer sledding tour, followed by the time to relax and warm up with a hot meal in one of our lavvus (indigenous Sámi tent). After the daytime activity, most people will return to Tromsø by bus. Since you have chosen to stay a full day at the camp (combining a daytime activity and evening activity), we have made it possible for you to stay at Camp Tamok in between activities.
Camp Stay
During this time, you will have the chance to explore Camp Tamok by yourself. Explore the beautiful surroundings, spend time at the dog yard, relax by the campfire inside the lavvu (read a book, play a game or socialize with others) or gather around the campfire outside. The camp host will inform you on where to meet up for your evening activity.
Available from 20.12.25: Option to visit the Snow Park during your Camp Stay.
Evening Activity
Depending on your choice of activity (upon booking), you will head out on a snowmobiling tour or join our Sami Culture experience or the northern lights visit.
Overnight Accommodation
After your evening activity, you will return to the camp and enjoy a warm meal in one of our traditional lavvus (indigenous Sámi tent). After the meal, around 22:30 you can check-in to your accommodation for the evening (chosen upon booking): Arctic glamping, the chalet or the char cabin.
Daytime Activity
After spending the night in the Arctic wilderness, we will start the following day with a traditional Norwegian breakfast, followed by your daytime activity (chosen upon booking): head out on an exciting dog sledding or snowmobile tour, join the reindeer sledding and Sami experience or join us for to Tromsø Ice Domes Snow Park and combine a visit to the park with the snow carving activity!
After the daytime activity, a warm meal awaits you in one of our traditional lavvus (indigenous Sámi tent). After the warm meal, your ultimate combination adventure package has come to an end and it is time to board the bus and return to Tromsø.

Please read the descriptions of each tour for more specific practical information before booking the package: availability, what is included in each tour, restrictions and minimum age for children.
- Advanced Dog Sledding:
- Our guides are entitled to deny drivers and passengers to join this tour out of health and safety reason.
- The tour requires strength and fitness from all our guests, and a good physical condition is necessary to participate. Some parts of the trail can be covered with a fresh layer of snow or go uphill which means in both cases you will have to help the dogs to push the sled.
- The trail can be narrow and have sharp bends, which requires a good balance to steer the sled.
- Since you will be sharing the sled with another person it is required for both of you to meet these requirements when swapping places halfway the tour.
- Snowmobiling:
- Due to the dramatic topography, a reduced speed is maintained during some parts of the tour.
- The duration of the snowmobiling activity (the time you will spend on the tracks, driving the snowmobile) can differ day to day, depending on snow and weather conditions.
- Snowmobiling & Reindeer Sledding Evening:
- These tours are not focused on chasing the Northern Lights, but they offer a great chance of witnessing this natural phenomenon.
- Overnight Accommodation:
- Option to reserve “Single Occupancy” of one cabin. This supplement is mandatory and not optional: when making a reservation for 1 person, please add “Single Supplement” on the final step of your reservation.
- Mandatory: If we notice the surcharge has not been added, notice will be given, and we are entitled to charge the additional fees after booking.

Restrictions
- Each child must be accompanied by an adult.
- Snowmobiling:
- You need to be minimum 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license to operate a snowmobile.
- Passengers needs to be minimum 7 years old.
- Drivers and passengers must be minimum 130cm in height to meet the safety requirements.
- Pregnant people are not allowed on this tour
- Self liability can be reduced to 1000 NOK by paying waiver supplement of 300 NOK per driver.
- Advanced Dog Sledding:
- Minimum age: 16 y/o
- Recommended maximum age: 65 y/o
- Pregnant people are not allowed to participate in this tour.
- Weight limit: 120kg
